India is a concoction of multiple communities, practices, heritage and traditions. Our flourished and diverse cultures have so much to share with each other. AAMBRA Foundation aspires to be a conduit for the information within and among the diverse communities and educate them about best practices and ethics ubiquitous to our pan Indian culture. ‘AAMBROTSAVE’ - A celebration of Indian, art, craft, culture, cuisine and literature - is an annual project of the AAMBRA Foundation. We not only celebrate our legacy but will help revive waning craftsmanship and weaves.

The theme of AAMBROTSAVE- 2015 is rich culture of Gujarat. We would have day long cultural and literary celebrations from different parts of India. Evenings will be lighted up with energetic fervor of Garbha and Dandiya, from 7 pm to 10:30 pm on 17th and 18th October, 2015. The location for the two days extravagance would be CSOI Lawns, Vinay Marg, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi-110021.

About

The AAMBRA Foundation is a government of India registered non-profit organization, approved under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. AAMBRA came into formal inception in the year 2012, since then, the foundation has been actively engaged in skill development and has conducted national level seminar; and several consumer awareness and skill development workshops in the Delhi NCR, free of cost. The AAMBRA foundation’s primary objective is to work towards women empowerment through information dissemination and skill development.

India has a glorious tradition of art, craft, culture, textiles, weaves and literature. AAMBROTSAVE is our endeavor and annual project to rekindle our youth’s interest in our culture and instill a feeling of pride in our age old traditions.

Inauguration - 10:30 am, 17th October 2015 at the AAMBROTSAVE Authors corner CSOI lawns, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri.

AAMBROTSAVE Haat

A collection of artisan stalls, selling traditional, pan-Indian wares to promote indigenous skills and Make in India.

To captivate and enlarge everyone's world through interactions and discussions with renowned authors. This also features a section for sale of books.

A collection of food stalls, serving traditional Indian delicacies from different regions of the country.

AAMBROTSAVE Raas

An authentic Raas Garbha dandiya performance. Aambra Foundation has invited folk artists - singers and dancers from the interior of Gujarat to perform live and enthrall one and all with their spirited performance.

Timings 7:00pm - 10:30pm

Our theme will include an emphasis to continuously highlight rare Indian art forms, waning culinary traditions, along with dance, folk music, and literature which appears to be diminishing.

Author's Corner

At AAMBROTSAVE 2015 we bring you six sessions spread over two days which include discussions and interactions with the most eminent authors of our times. The day would be suffused with mind challenging debatable issues concerning one and all. Through this event we are promoting and supporting written works - writers, authors and poets; poetry, fables, novels, articles, columns, cinema and new research.

Social Online

To engage with our youth AAMBROTSAVE presents an online virtual cultural clothing contest spread over a year. The idea being to motivate everyone and especially the youth of India to at least wear Indian clothing on 24-30 days out of 365 days of an year.

The contest requires participants to upload 24-30 selfies in any regional attire. After 11 months of posting selfies, in the 12th month the jury will come into action to review the entries and three males and three females from each category would be selected by an eminent jury from all walks of life. The contest requires online registration at a nominal payment of Rs - 275.
