Aambrotsave is a pan India cultural festival with 6 successful editions which explored women empowerment through song, dance, art, food and literature. Aambrotsave helps build communities by linking youth to artists, not only to showcase the art but also develop appreciation and foster development of youth in the Indian arts. It’s emotionally uplifting for our elderly and is well attended by them as well.

Aarohan  is a programme designed to provide non-formal education for people not currently enrolled in the formal education stream. All ages are welcome to benefit from the free pedagogy for the 3 R’s. Enriching the curriculum are modules on yoga, values, performing and visual art and life skills.

Sashakta is a community service programme where women are trained free of cost to be professional paramedical workers . Sashakta graduates not only work within their community to provide frontline care for people but are also placed in medical facilities for a financially rewarding career. Most Sashakta beneficiaries hail from urban slums and villages located within the larger metropolitan area. In the coming years it's our endeavour to take health literacy to rural hinterlands and tribal geographies.

Special thanks to our partners in service, donors, Our CSR partner SIDBI, volunteers, interns, family and friends who during the first decade of our service have given us tremendous support.

By convention achievements always garner attention but the arduous journey scaled for making them a reality are seldom talked about. For us, at Aambra Foundation, a bunch of enthusiasts and self motivated changemakers, it was indeed no different. With unwavering determination and uncompromising levels of dedication. we have made it possible even with several challenges on our side in the last decade.

However, to celebrate such momentous and exemplary efforts rendered in the last ten years, celebrations also had to be at a scale and level like no other. With service to address the gender inequality at the centrestage of our very core existence, the grain of our exhaustive celebrations matched the gravitas of the occasion.

The celebratory evening commenced with a short and interactive inaugural address on how over the ten years the organisation has worked tirelessly towards realising the dream of women empowerment by our dedicated patron and founder Ms Vinita Bakshi, Aambra Foundation followed by enthralling cultural renditions and candid tête-à-tête sessions.
