Volunteering and Interning Opportunities with Aambra Foundation The AAMBRA Foundation is committed to women's empowerment,  protecting the rights of women, children, and the disempowered since 2012. It accords primacy to the principles of equality, dignity, selfless service, and humanity irrespective of caste, class, creed, gender, race, and religion.

AF is actively involved in promoting gender equality through advocacy, workshops, seminars, and discussions as well as skill development and livelihood generation in urban slums and villages to make women economically independent. To foster the spirit of selflessness, we welcome young enthusiastic, self-motivated students with outstanding academic records who have a zeal to serve and work for society. AF welcomes the ardent participation of students to be a part of our valuable team, as an intern or a volunteer.

As an intern-
AAMBRA Foundation offers paid and unpaid internships on a trimester basis, under different departments, to deserving candidates having extraordinary competence and zeal to work for the cause Aambra stands for. Interested candidates matching the required skill set for the respective internship/volunteer program, to which they are applying can drop their resume along with their statement of purpose on communications@aambrafoundation.org.

Terms and conditions for the internship:-
● The duration of the internship is three months, on a full-time basis, with working hours 10.00 A.M to 6.00 P.M, **off** on alternate Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
● Under no circumstances a tenure of fewer than 3 months will be accepted/allowed.
● Interns will be given a certificate upon successful completion and may receive a letter of recommendation.
● On selection, Aambra foundation will issue an offer letter of internship to the selected Intern to be signed by them for acceptance.
● If a candidate fails to complete the tenure he/she will forfeit the certificate, LOR, and compensation if any.

Job profile: Social media internship
● Students pursuing graduation are eligible for this internship.
● Knowledge of social media and digital marketing is a must.
● Brainstorming new ideas for the social media platform
● Helping in marketing our current and future campaigns
● Planning, developing and executing a social media marketing strategy
● Finding suitable keywords for the given project and pushing the rank
● Proposing ideas to create posters
● Interns will be given a certificate upon successful completion and may receive a letter of recommendation (performance based).
● The internship can be either paid or unpaid, based on candidate’s talent and interview performance.

Job profile: Literature internships
● Internships are only provided to graduates or above from fields of literature, Instrumental and Performing Arts, Dance, Music, Culture, History, Journalism, Poetry, Culinary courses,
● Organizing AAMBROTSAVE Events online and offline
● Writing blogs related to arts, crafts, culture, cuisine, archaeology, music etc.
● Curating and presenting in webinars related to the field of arts.

Job profile: Event Management Internship –
Internships are only provided to graduates and above

About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Handling event management-related requirements such as helping with documentation, designing creatives, and helping and facilitating the logistics involved
  • Working on designing software such as Photoshop and InDesign
  • Working on the handling of the social handles of the organization (Facebook , Instagram, Twitter, Youtube)
  • Maintaining coordination with on-ground challenges, such as close coordination with guests and panelists, helping, brainstorming, and curating new and innovative ideas for events
  • The internship is open for eligible students pursuing Graduation/Post graduation from college/institutions
  • The internship will be for a duration of 3 months
  • Interns will be given a certificate upon successful completion and may receive a letter of recommendation (performance based).
  • The internship offered can be paid or unpaid depending upon the experience, exposure, and qualification of the candidates.
