Health Camp - 29 October, 2022
Health is wealth and no one knows better than us at Aambra Foundation. Working for the welfare of the masses at large has been our eternal motto from the very beginning. To ensure communities we work with have vital health parameters periodically checked, we organise health camps in our communities with great dedication and passion on regular basis.
Working with same spirit and mission in mind, a health camp was organised in association with Pariwar Seva, an NGO established in 1978 for providing efficient healthcare services, at Sangam Vihar, New Delhi on 29 th October,2022 (SATURDAY). The health camp especially focussed on measuring haemoglobin levels of our community members at large. With active participation and closed coordination by our team members, the health camp not only touched about maintaining optimum levels of haemoglobin but also about the essence of maintaining a healthy and efficient lifestyle.
Food Distribution Drive - 18 January, 2023
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” – Dalai Lama
Noble thought and words of wisdom as aptly professed by the world renowned leader Dalai Lama, we at our decade old foundation, have always been inspired by such a pragmatic approach to address the several social evils plaguing the society.
Working on the mission with zeal and unwavering passion, we have firmly believed that no individual on the planet should remain hungry and be deprived of a basic necessity like food. With hunger and malnutrition indicators at an all time alarming levels, our foundation has always been actively organizing food distribution camps in Delhi/ NCR. Even during the crippling and devastating wave of SAR2 COVID 19 induced pandemic, we spearheaded a massive mask distribution drive for the beneficiaries at large. We have always espoused and worked with utmost priority and compassion that a basic necessity like twice a day of well-nourished meal should be ensured to the younger generation for their overall development and growth.
We have, since our inception in 2012, always remained committed sincerely to address the ground realities at play. From launching a dedicated toll-free help to combat mental distress during the peak of pandemic to periodically organizing health camps in the communities for the larger welfare and upliftment of the society. With a steadfast approach for a brighter tomorrow, we have always in all our programmatic endeavours worked closely for the upliftment of the marginalized sections of the society.
Legal Literacy Workshop - 30 July, 2022
With a penchant to strive for the welfare of our society, Aambra Foundation, since its foundation, has always conferred due attention to contemporary issues with practical and feasible solutions in sight.
In a country as diverse and vibrant as India, awareness for basic rights, as enshrined in our Constitution, for redressal of several serious social evils has remained an arduous challenge to arrest. With a passion to address issues concerning women with the involvement of domain experts, we organized an interactive & detailed workshop on legal literacy on 30th July(Saturday) 2022, at Khizrabad, New Delhi. We firmly believe that by conferring knowledge about basic legal entitlements available to females, we can go a long way in realizing our core aim of making them empowered and decisive force for a safer, prosperous and self-reliant India. In the past, successive governments have also spearheaded several initiatives on the front of awarding legal awareness such as National Legal Literacy Mission (NLMA) as well as National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and continues to do so.
As part of our two hour long exhaustive workshop, we covered several important initiatives such as Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment at Workplace, redressal mechanism available with Women Cell as well as procedure involved for registering a complaint. As part of the workshop, we invited Advocate J.S. Kalra, a leading name in the legal fraternity in India. The workshop also had a section reserved for answering queries related to the issues covered as part of the initiative.
